Clamping

  • Peiseler NC units are equipped with clamping.
  • The design of the clamping member functions without the introduction of any distortion eliminating any possible error introduced through clamping once the programmed position has been reached.
  • Clamping is carried out hydraulically. To avoid equipment damage, clamping pressure must be limited to a maximum of 63 bar.
  • Some units, with the designation P in the description, are equipped with pneumatic clamping. To avoid equipment damage, clamping pressure must be limited to a maximum of 6 bar.
  • The control sequencing is applying pressure for clamping, and depleting pressure prior to turning.
  • Ensure that the clamping is only initiated with the table top at a complete standstill, and that the pressure is completely depleted prior to positioning. Use the pressure switch for this control.
  • Direct drive tables that are not self-locking incorporate a spring activated safety brake. The clamp is released hydraulically.
