The 180-degree pendulum workpiece changing tables are available in the two frame sizes WW 520 and WW 630. There are different faceplate sizes and variants for fastening workpieces and devices for both models. The conventional tables are designed with hole patterns or T-slots. The positioning of the two-piece, lifting Hirth coupling is done with two pneumatic thrust pistons. First, the table is lifted with a piston, turned with another thrust piston and then lowered. While machining is being done on one table side, the machined workpiece is exchanged for a raw part on the other table side. The short part exchange time increases the productivity of the machine tool considerably compared to alternate load-unload methods.
