Production at Peiseler Remscheid launched again

‘Back to normality’ is the slogan after the production areas at Peiseler in Remscheid were also affected by heavy rain and storms on Wednesday 14.07.2021.

Almost 10 days after the floods, normality is slowly returning. The production areas have been cleared of residues and mud. Most of the products from the production could be secured and conserved. The machines and equipment in the metal-cutting production have been restarted to a large extent and the damage is likely to be less than previously feared. We are currently working at full speed to clear the production delay resulting from the production stop.

All in all, Peiseler has probably escaped with a black eye, larger and long-term damage was prevented - thanks to solid crisis management and the quick and excellent support of the entire workforce. At this point, we would like to thank all employees and helpers for their active support in the last few days.

Due to the production and assembly downtime, a manageable production delay can be expected in the next few weeks. With extra shifts and weekend shifts, we are working harder to catch up with this backlog. Nevertheless, we ask for your understanding that we will still have to refer to force majeure in case of potential delivery delays in the next few days.

Our colleagues in sales are in close coordination with production and will continue to inform you regularly about the status of orders.

Thank you for your understanding
